Fifth-year students continue to perform the summer application at the teaching veterinary hospital.

The Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Prof. Dr. Shahd Abbas Al-Attar, visited the Teaching Veterinary Hospital to inspect the fifth-year students while they were performing the summer application of the Clinical Medicine course, through examining and treating the disease cases received at the Teaching Veterinary Hospital. Al-Attar stressed the necessity of students’ commitment to attendance and active participation with their supervising lecturers to identify the disease cases and follow up with animal breeders and provide veterinary medical advice to breeders to avoid the transmission of infection from infected animals to them. It is worth noting that the Clinical Medicine course is considered one of the basic and important academic subjects, as it informs students of the communicable diseases endemic in the city of Kirkuk and its suburbs, what are the methods of treatment and how to prevent them.
