The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine organizes a morning event about the female university student

Under the guidance of the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Professor Dr. Shahd Abbas Al-Attar, the University Psychological Counseling Unit organized a morning session entitled "The University Student and the Building of Personal Identity," attended by female students of the college.

The session included a lecture by Dr. Intisar Abdullah, who addressed the importance of the university stage, which is considered one of the most crucial phases in the formation of a student's personal identity. It represents a transitional period from late adolescence to early adulthood, during which the student experiences profound intellectual, psychological, and social influences that contribute to shaping her self-perception and her place in society. The university stage is not merely about obtaining a degree; it is one of the most important stages in personality development and in determining the student's path in future social life. This path involves numerous stages through practical and academic experience, assuming responsibility, and making sound decisions.

The lecture aimed to boost self-confidence and encourage students to identify their strengths. Furthermore, it aimed to develop their personal and leadership skills through participation in various university activities and to provide a comprehensive, supportive, and stimulating academic environment that encourages students to express their opinions and supports university psychological counseling and academic guidance programs.
