In the presence of Prof. Dr. Shahd Abbas Al-Attar, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, fifth-year students at the college organized several seminars on the medical cases that come to the Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Ms. Riam Sami, the students’ supervisor, explained that the students presented several seminars on anatomy, parasites, microbiology, and viruses, aiming to increase their medical knowledge by informing them, in a scientific and accurate manner, on how to deal with each medical case that comes to the hospital. She also explained that these seminars are part of the summer training curriculum and that their main purpose is to increase their medical knowledge and practice it practically on the cases that come to the hospital. It also helps in quickly diagnosing the medical condition of animals and giving them appropriate and accurate treatment.
