English Professor Dr. Qasim Sakran Abbas, a lecturer at the College of Veterinary Medicine, was chosen as a member of the editorial board of the Dutch magazine Research In Veterinary Science. This magazine is considered one of the publications of the international publishing house Elsevier, starting in 1965, and it is classified as the first category, Q1, in the “Scopes” database, with an impact factor (Cite Score of 4.4). This editorial membership is referred to as Editorial Board Membership and includes the tasks of following up on the arbitration of scientific research. It is one of the university’s first memberships in the magazines issued by Al-Safir, which serves our university’s journey towards global presence within international scientific circles and forums.
