The College of Veterinary Medicine organized a memorial service for the souls of the Halabja tragedy, in the presence of the Dean, Dr. Mahmoud Adeeb Agha, and the faculty’s faculty, staff, and students. The Dean recalled the criminal act of the former regime on the 36th anniversary.In his speech, he spoke of the tragedy of Halabja, the crimes committed against children, the innocent, and the defenseless, by bombing them with chemical weapons. The conclusion of the memorial ceremony witnessed the reading of Surat Al-Fatihah for the souls of the martyrs and the innocents, and praying for mercy and forgiveness for them, asking the Almighty God to make them reside in His vast paradise and to inspire their families and loved ones with patience and solace.
