A faculty member at the College of Veterinary Medicine was selected as a global research resident.

Professor Qassim Sakran Abbas, a lecturer at the College of Veterinary Medicine, was selected as a reviewer and evaluator for a global research project titled "Biochemical and Histopathological Alterations Induced by Tramadol." The lecturer stated that he was selected as a reviewer for the research from the University of Medical Sciences of Iran. It is worth noting that the research will be published in the Medical Journal of the Islamic Republic of Iran, a Q3 journal with a Cite score of 2.3. He added that the research has been evaluated by the Web of Science website in Clarivate.
