A lecturer at the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kirkuk University, Prof. Dr. Shahd Abbas Ali, participated in chairing the committee to discuss the master's thesis of the student Salwa Asghar Hussein in the College of Health and Medical Technologies / Kirkuk, Northern Technical University.
The lecturer stated that the thesis, which was entitled "Evaluation of inflammatory reactions triggered by interleukin 6, 17 in patients infected with E.histolytica / dispar", discussed the partial study between the two types E.histolytice and E.dispar for E.histolytica / dispar infection and its ability as biomarkers for early detection of infection.
The lecturer added that the researcher recommended evaluating the inflammatory reactions triggered by interleukin 6, 17 in patients infected with E.histolytica / dispar in addition to evaluating the levels of CRP, LGA and the number of white blood cells in patients infected with the parasite.
