The College of Veterinary Medicine held a training workshop entitled “Protecting poultry against Newcastle disease” in the 30th year in the presence of the dean of the college, the faculty, associates and students. The workshop included a lecture given by Professor Nawzad Rashid Abdel Rahman, in which he explained the previous differences and the new vaccine and its importance in vaccinating poultry against the dangerous Newcastle disease and how to calculate it. The standard for antibodies in order to determine the appropriate time for the vaccine program, indicating that vaccines are the cornerstone in building a successful poultry project, thus reducing mortality and increasing the live weight of chickens without losses.
