The College of Veterinary Medicine held a panel discussion entitled World Tuberculosis Day, in the presence of the Dean of the College, the faculty, and the associates, on the occasion of the global campaign to combat pulmonary tuberculosis, which falls on March 24 of each year. The lecture included a lecture given by Prof. Louay Jumah Jihad, where he gave a historical overview of the disease, its spread in the world, and its proportions. Annual deaths and the countries most affected by the disease. He also provided a detailed explanation of the disease, its causes, clinical and diagnostic signs, factors that help spread the disease, and methods of prevention and treatment. The lecturer recommended the necessity of periodic follow-up of personal health by conducting laboratory tests and complying with medical recommendations.
