The College of Veterinary Medicine, under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Kamal Ali Saleh, and in implementation of the goals of the National Initiative for Energy Support and Emission Reduction within the activities of the Women’s Empowerment Unit, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Division, held a discussion panel entitled (The Harms of Waste on the Environment and Humans) by M.D. Damat Fikret. Saber pointed out that waste is toxic materials that are harmful to public health, and they are contaminated materials that cause damage to the environment. She recommended that the panel should control waste, reduce its damage, educate the community, and work to recycle it.
