The College of Veterinary Medicine holds a seminar entitled (Water Pollution with Heavy Metals) ​

As part of the activities of the Continuing Education Division, the College of Veterinary Medicine held a seminar entitled Water Pollution with Heavy Metals (in the presence of the Dean of the College, the teaching staff, and the associates. The seminar included a lecture given by Prof. Adnan Shakur, in which he touched on the heavy elements that are naturally present in the Earth’s crust and are of two types, rare elements. Heavy elements are found in the body in concentrations that lead to poisoning. These elements are found in drinking water, food, and the air. The lecturer recommended paying attention to the cleanliness of drinking water and water use
