The College of Veterinary Medicine held a seminar entitled (The importance of afforestation in preserving the environment and health) in the presence of the Dean of the College, the faculty, and the members. The seminar included a lecture given by Prof. Nour Faisal Noman, highlighting the great importance of afforestation for the environment and health, as it helps purify the air from dust and pollutants resulting from smoke. Factories where one tree can replenish the air from CO2 for four people over a 24-hour period. Green spaces also help reduce exposure to cardiovascular disease and improve brain functions and the ability to concentrate.
