The College of Veterinary Medicine held an awareness lecture for students within the framework of launching and supporting the National Initiative for Energy and Water and Reducing Emissions. A lecture entitled (The Greenhouse Phenomenon and High Temperatures Resulting from the Accumulation of Greenhouse Gases). The lecture delivered by Prof. Dhikra Abdel Wahab Mustafa included highlighting the greenhouse phenomenon or what is known as warming. Thermal rise in the Earth's temperature as a result of the accumulation of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, including carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide, which led to heat retention. The environmental implications of this phenomenon and the proposed solutions to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases were also discussed.
