The College of Veterinary Medicine held a panel discussion entitled (Love of Belonging, Strengthening National Identity, and Consolidating Peaceful Coexistence) in the presence of the Dean of the College, the faculty, and members.
The episode included a lecture given by M.M. Walid Mahdi Abdullah, stating that the concept of national belonging is merely loose slogans that are preached in seminars and lectures, while national belonging is considered a common sense, and it is important to stop at it, research it, study it, and emphasize working to consolidate it in the souls of children. The lecturer recommended building institutions. It provides protection to the citizen without depriving him of his rights, rejecting racism and sectarianism, and raising the interest of the nation above subsidiary affiliations.
