Under the direction of the Dean, Prof. Dr. Shahad Abbas Al-Attar, the Human Rights Unit organized an awareness campaign titled "October: Breast Cancer Awareness Month—Together Towards a Healthier and More Informed Society." The campaign involved distributing brochures to female staff and students, highlighting the risks of breast cancer and outlining preventive measures—most notably performing monthly self-examinations, avoiding smoking and alcohol, and maintaining a healthy diet rich in fruits and vegetables.
