The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine organizes a training course on combating corruption

Under the guidance of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Shahd Abbas Al-Attar, a training course entitled "Modern Technologies for Combating Corruption and Digital Tools" was organized, with the participation of college staff. The course included a lecture delivered by Assistant Lecturer Walid Mahdi, in which he addressed modern technologies for combating corruption, which is considered a fundamental approach used by most institutions in developed countries to eliminate the scourge of corruption. Traditional methods that rely on correspondence and paper transactions are ineffective and have many problems, especially delays due to bureaucracy in correspondence reaching the highest official. In contrast, modern technologies contribute to strengthening the oversight role, analyzing data, and detecting financial violations early, with less effort and very high accuracy. The three-day course aimed to raise awareness of the importance of using modern technologies such as artificial intelligence and developing electronic systems in a way that reduces routine paper transactions.
