Veterinary medicine organizes an awareness campaign about illegal immigration

Under the guidance of the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Professor Dr. Shahd Abbas Al-Attar, the Media and Government Communication Division organized an awareness campaign entitled "Illegal Immigration." The campaign included the creation of posters and the distribution of informational brochures aimed at highlighting the important role of media in raising community awareness about the dangers of illegal immigration. Among the most important reasons and motivations for youth migration are the lack of job opportunities, population density, psychological pressure and depression that afflict young people in most cases, and the attraction to the opportunities available in Western societies, their lifestyles, and the absolute freedom they offer, which contribute to encouraging young people to migrate to other countries and leave their homelands.

The campaign aimed to raise awareness among young people about the importance and value of their homeland by instilling values ​​of belonging to our beloved Iraq and activating the role of media in spreading a culture of community awareness about the dangers of illegal immigration among young people, emphasizing the need to provide them with the necessary protection and job opportunities that guarantee them a dignified life in their homeland.
