Under the guidance of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Shahd Abbas Al-Attar, the College of Veterinary Medicine organized a workshop entitled "The Impact of Inadequate Administrative Oversight on Combating Corruption," attended by faculty and staff.The workshop included a lecture by Assistant Lecturer Waleed Mahdi, who addressed the phenomenon of corruption, considered one of the most dangerous negative phenomena in all societies, undermining sustainable development. He explained that its spread leads to distrust between citizens and state institutions and affects the level of economic and social progress. One of its most important causes is the inadequacy of administrative oversight, which is the main gateway for the spread of this destructive phenomenon in all government institutions.
