Under the guidance of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Shahd Abbas Al-Attar, and as part of the activities of the University Psychological Counseling Division, the College of Veterinary Medicine organized an awareness seminar under the slogan "I am against drugs," in the presence of the assistant deans, faculty members, and students of the college. The seminar included a lecture delivered by Engineer Shwan Najat Mohammed, Director of the Public Relations and Media Division/Kirkuk Narcotics Affairs Directorate, in which he explained that the university stage is one of the most important stages in building personality, during which the features of the academic and professional future are formed. Because students are the most vulnerable group targeted by drug dealers, it is our duty to advise and educate them about the dangers of drug addiction. The seminar aimed to spread awareness of the dangers of drugs to the individual and society and to highlight national efforts to combat drugs.
