The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine organizes a workshop on the spread of corruption

The College of Veterinary Medicine organized a workshop entitled "The Relationship Between Weak Oversight and the Spread of Corruption," attended by faculty and staff. The workshop included a lecture delivered by Dr. Tariq Abdul Mohammed, Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, and Mr. Waleed Mahdi. They discussed the oversight role, which is considered one of the most important administrative functions and a fundamental element of the administrative process. This role ensures full compliance with laws and regulations, uncovers legal, administrative, and financial violations, and addresses administrative gaps. Furthermore, one of the most significant reasons for weak administrative oversight is the lack of independence and the inadequacy of modern technologies. The workshop aimed to develop administrative personnel and establish integrated, independent administrative systems, particularly by imposing deterrent administrative penalties, while emphasizing the independence of the judiciary.
