The University Psychological Counseling Department at the College of Veterinary Medicine organized an awareness workshop entitled "Analysis of Extremist Discourse: What Are Its Causes and What Are the Counter-Strategies" with the attendance of the college students. The workshop included a lecture given by Ms. Damt Fikret, in which she touched on the importance of raising awareness among students regarding extremist discourse, which causes bias towards a certain ideology that generates a group of extremist ideas that have a significant impact on society. In addition, knowing the real causes of it by identifying the obstacles contributes to increasing students' awareness and understanding of critical thinking in a way that does not affect the differences of opinion among them.
