Microbiology & Parasitology Laboratory
This laboratory specializes in the study of microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi, and viruses, as well as internal and external parasites that infect animals. Students are trained in the isolation and diagnosis of microbes and parasites using microscopy and laboratory tests, enhancing their ability to diagnose infectious and parasitic diseases and develop control plans.
The following subjects are studied:
1. Microbiology: Students study the types of microorganisms (bacteria, viruses, and fungi) that infect animals.
2. Parasitology: Students study internal and external parasites that infect the animal body.
3. Pathology: Students study infected tissues in different parts of the body.
4. General Chemistry: Students in the laboratory detect chemical elements and substances and perform quantitative and qualitative analyses of these elements.
5. Immunology: Students in the laboratory study how to activate the body's immunity against various diseases.
