Studies and Planning Division

The Division was established in 2023 after previously operating as a unit. Its previous responsibilities were part of the duties of the Scientific Division. The Studies and Planning Division is administratively linked to the Office of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and to the Department of Studies and Planning at the Presidency of the University of Kirkuk.

Among the most important duties of the Division are preparing the College's organizational structure, organizing and following up on the establishment of administrative divisions and units, preparing a database of College employees and updating it periodically, and completing university statistics for academic staff and students.
Division Units:
  1. University Statistics Unit.
  2. Data and Informatics Unit.
  3. Planning Unit.
Main Duties of the Division:
  1. Preparing a database containing the names of academic staff and employees, including name, nationality, gender, general and specific specialization, date of birth, date of appointment, academic degree and the date it was obtained, academic position, university, and country granting the degree.
  2. Preparing the monthly report on changes affecting College personnel, including academic staff and employees, such as obtaining an academic degree or scientific title, appointment, retirement, resignation, change of position, or long-term leave.
  3. Updating the database of academic staff and employees on a monthly basis.
  4. Preparing the annual report concerning academic staff and employees.
  5. Preparing the annual report on conferences, seminars, training courses, sports activities, and the administrative and academic organizational structure.
  6. Following up on official correspondence issued by the Studies and Planning Division and correspondence received from the University, and responding to them continuously and periodically.
  7. Registering and publishing scientific research conducted by academic staff.
  8. Organizing training courses in various fields of specialization.
  9. Preparing and printing all official correspondence related to the Studies and Planning Division, including official communications and responses.
  10. Performing various additional duties and tasks according to work requirements.
