The tasks and objectives of the legal department can be summarized in several important matters. :-
- Working collaboratively with all employees of the legal department to ensure the smooth operation of the department's affairs. .
- Presenting ideas and solutions for the application of legal texts in a manner consistent with the act, event, or subject under consideration. .
- Developing feasible plans and programs within a legal and legitimate framework .
- Adapting to situations and being able to work on schedule .
- Regulating legal contracts within the framework of legislation .
- Answering legal inquiries and providing appropriate solutions. .
- Clarifying the legal texts and regulations for all employees and students regarding student and employee discipline while at the workplace or study location. .
- Participation in permanent and temporary committees, whether investigative or otherwise. .
- Responding to legal documents issued by the Presidency of Kirkuk University or the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, according to the deadlines specified in the documents. .
- Managing employee and student affairs in accordance with regulations and instructions .
