Scientific Affairs Division
The Scientific Affairs Division was established with the
founding of the College in 2013. It is one of the most
important divisions supporting the educational process.
The division focuses on supporting the academic development
of faculty members and enhancing their scientific level
through postgraduate studies.
It also supervises training courses, conferences, and
workshops, and supports academic departments and scientific
branches by providing scientific plans and programs.
The division coordinates with all academic departments to
facilitate the work of the College and improve its performance
in a planned and systematic manner.
Its activities include collecting information and data,
coordinating with scientific branches, receiving and
distributing correspondence from the Scientific Affairs
Department at the University Presidency, responding to
inquiries within the specified time, collecting and archiving
faculty activities, and registering and publishing the
scientific research of the College's faculty members.
Main Tasks
- Collecting the activities of the scientific departments in the College periodically and submitting them to the University Presidency.
- Following up on the scientific research published by faculty members and submitting the relevant information to the University Presidency.
- Following up on postgraduate studies inside and outside Iraq.
- Monitoring and responding to official correspondence issued by the Studies, Planning and Follow-up Department at the University on an ongoing and periodic basis.
- Providing the University with updated information about faculty members and employees on a regular basis.
- Preparing the University plan in addition to preparing the College handbook.
- Monitoring the regular scientific and academic activities of the College and its faculty members.
