Microbiology & Parasitology Laboratory
This laboratory specializes in the study of microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi, and viruses, as well as internal and external parasites that infect animals. Students are trained to isolate and identify microbes and parasites using microscopy and laboratory tests, enhancing their ability to diagnose infectious and parasitic diseases and develop control plans.
The following subjects are taught:
1. Microbiology: This laboratory studies the types of microorganisms (bacteria, viruses, and fungi) that infect animals.
2. Parasitology: This laboratory studies the internal and external parasites that infect the animal body.
3. Diseases: This laboratory studies infected tissues in various parts of the body.
4. General Chemistry: This laboratory studies the detection of elements and chemicals, and the quantitative and qualitative analysis of these elements.
5. Immunology: This laboratory studies how the body's immunity is activated against various diseases.
