(If a doctor treats humans, then a vet treats humanity) The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Kirkuk is one of the newly established colleges, as it was founded in 2013-2014 And in very difficult circumstances, but it has made great strides in the scientific field to keep pace with the faculties of veterinary medicine in Iraqi universities Which preceded it in community service and is still striving to keep pace with scientific and technical development to raise the level of college graduates from veterinarians. The college is considered one of the colleges that has to do with human health before animals, as it has a major role in serving the community in both areas by providing healthy and safe food to maintain community health by controlling many common and transmissible diseases, and providing veterinary medical consultations to preserve livestock in quantity and quality. To support the national wealth of the country. After relying on God and with the continuous support of the presidency of our university, we seek to continue to advance the scientific level of the college by developing the teaching staff in the teaching development programs and benefiting from the experience of sober international and regional universities. Paying attention to the research aspect by equipping laboratories with the latest research devices and holding conferences, seminars, courses, workshops and seminars in cooperation and coordination with the relevant authorities from various state departments. Then we come out with recommendations that serve the community and the advancement of livestock. It was an honor for me to occupy the position of Dean of the College and this scientific edifice to continue the gains of those who preceded me in that, and I am honored to be surrounded by a constellation of colleagues who participate in a sincere effort in assuming the responsibility to preserve this edifice as a platform to serve our country..... the great Iraq
