The Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Kirkuk recently organized a practical lecture on physical injuries and their rehabilitation.
The lecture was specifically designed for students in their third stage of study and was attended by the dean of the faculty, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Saber, as well as a number of teaching staff.
During the lecture, delivered by Teaching Assistant Professor Dr. Sinan Hisham Rashid, students were taught how to deal with cases of fainting and loss of consciousness that may occur during practical lectures. The lecture covered the various causes of fainting, its severity, and ways to deal with it, along with necessary tips that students should adhere to in order to preserve their health and well-being.
Additionally, students were taught the necessary steps of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) needed to save the life of an injured person. The lecture was informative and practical, aiming to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to handle emergencies related to physical injuries.
