The Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences recently organized a campaign

The Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences recently organized a campaign focused on afforestation and garden upkeep at promoting the culture of afforestation. The campaign was supervised by the Dean of the Faculty, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Saber, and involved the participation of both teachers and students.

According to the Dean, the campaign was part of the plant initiative launched by the President of the University of Kirkuk, Professor Dr Omran Jamal Hassan. The goal of the initiative is to beautify the campus with natural plants and roses, creating an environment that is vibrant and full of life.

During the campaign, a variety of plants, flowers, and evergreen trees were planted to create a more conducive environment for students. Additionally, brochures about the plant initiative were distributed across various areas of Kirkuk governorate, to raise awareness about the importance of afforestation.
