As part of its ongoing scientific activities, the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Kirkuk organized a workshop titled:
“The Integrative Relationship Between the State and Society in Achieving Economic Security.”
The workshop was presented by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Essam Hadi Mohammed.
🗣️ During the workshop, Dr. Essam discussed the concept of economic security as one of the fundamental pillars of state stability and societal development. He emphasized the importance of integration between state institutions and members of society in achieving this security and strengthening the foundations of sustainable development.

He also raised a set of essential questions that stimulated scientific discussion, including:
-
Is economic security a responsibility of the state and a right of society, or is it the opposite?
-
Is it an absolute condition, or a relative one that changes over time and with economic variables?
-
And how can balance be achieved between the passage of time and the differences among regions in this regard?
🔹 The Dean explained that achieving economic security requires a genuine partnership based on trust, transparency, and role integration between the state and society, in a way that ensures stability and strengthens the path toward development.

The workshop witnessed a wide attendance of faculty members, employees, and students, whose contributions and ideas enriched the discussion and added a distinctive interactive atmosphere to the session.
🌟 This workshop comes as part of a series of scientific activities organized by the College to enhance economic awareness and reinforce the concepts of development and national security, in line with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s vision of building a knowledge-based society.
