The College of Administration and Economics Organizes an Awareness Workshop on the Dangers of Drugs

Under the patronage of Assistant Professor Dr. Essam Hadi Mohammed, Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Kirkuk, the College, in cooperation with the Directorate of Drug Control and Psychotropic Substances, organized a workshop titled:
“Drugs and Society: Impact Analysis and Methods of Confrontation,”
with the participation of a group of faculty members and a number of students.

The workshop was presented by Engineer Shwan Najat Mohammed and Assistant Professor Dr. Barzan Mashhad Saleh, who addressed the causes of drug spread and its serious effects on individuals and society. They also emphasized the importance of early awareness and the role of educational and security institutions in combating this phenomenon.

🎯The workshop aimed to enhance community awareness about the dangers of drugs and to equip young people intellectually and behaviorally against this harmful phenomenon. The speakers emphasized the role of universities in promoting a culture of prevention and cooperating with the relevant authorities to address the issue through effective scientific and educational approaches.
