The College of Pharmacy, through the Continuing Education Division, held a seminar and workshop entitled (First Aid in Chemistry Laboratories) on Tuesday, 4/23/2024. The seminar included several axes through which the two researchers, Assistant Lecturer Jahan Jalil Muhammad and Assistant Lecturer Batoul Khalil Muhammad, addressed the definition of first aid, its history, its logos, and methods of dealing with first aid in the event of burns, or in the event of chemical materials coming into contact with the skin or eyes, or inhaling or swallowing chemicals, and how to organize this first aid box according to the specifications (MSDS), i.e. the Chemical Safety Data Sheet, and placing the necessary warning labels to know the extent of the danger of chemicals and taking the necessary precautions in terms of safety and security.
