English The Pharmaceuticals and Toxicology Branch was established at the College of Pharmacy according to the book of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Department of Scientific Affairs 3/3/8606 on 9/6/2018 and according to University Order 7/17/79211 on 9/30/2018 issued at the University of Kirkuk and based on the necessary need. The College of Pharmacy is assigned to the Iraqi Ministry of Health to develop the scientific aspect of students studying in the fields of chemical, physiological and biological changes in the human body and various tissues and to know the relationship of other sciences to pharmacology.

Branch Vision:
Our ambition is for our college to be a focus in the field of higher education and scientific research by preparing pharmacists who have the status of experts in medicines and poisons. The pharmacist will be able to provide scientific pharmaceutical advice as well as follow up on cases of poisoning with medicines, herbs, and environmental toxins and follow up on the drug’s action in the body to determine the drug dose for each patient to ensure its effectiveness. The branch's mission is based on knowledge of the effect of medicines, toxins, and some products on living organisms and living cells, in addition to studying environmental effects and toxins on living organisms and the ecosystem.
Branch Goals:
Providing the factors that help prepare a pharmacist skilled in his work, by equipping practical laboratories with all advanced methods, in addition to providing modern books that achieve the desired goal.
