College of Pharmacy Organizes a Guidance Seminar Titled "Student Mental Health and Its Role in Suicide Prevention"

The University Psychological Counseling Division at the College of Pharmacy, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Division, organized a guidance seminar for first-year students titled "Student Mental Health and Its Role in Suicide Prevention" on Monday, February 2, 2026.

The seminar featured several key themes presented by Dr. Hanadi Hussein Sharqi and Asst. Lect. Batool Khalil Mohammed. They highlighted the importance of mental health in university life and its vital role in enhancing psychological balance and adapting to academic and social pressures. Furthermore, the session shed light on the primary causes leading to psychological disorders and explored effective methods for prevention.
