The Deanship of the College of Media organized a memorial gathering to honor the late Kadhim Shaker—a staff member in the College’s Follow-up Division—as an expression of deep sorrow and grief over his passing, and in recognition of his dedicated service and contributions throughout his tenure.
The gathering was attended by the College’s Vice Deans for Scientific, Administrative, and Financial Affairs, the Head of the Follow-up and Security Clearances Department at the University of Kirkuk, as well as various faculty members and staff. Together, they reflected on the life and professional journey of the deceased, recalling the positive impact he left among his colleagues.
The proceedings included the recitation of *Surah Al-Fatiha* for the repose of his soul, followed by a minute of silence in his memory. Prayers were offered to the Almighty, asking Him to bestow His vast mercy upon the deceased, grant him a place in His spacious gardens, and provide patience and solace to his family, loved ones, and colleagues.
