The Dean of the College of Media at Kirkuk University, Professor Dr. Maad Assi Ali, received the Director of the Kirkuk Palace of Culture and Arts, Mr. Yousef Tayeb Saleh, to discuss strengthening cultural and artistic cooperation and consolidating partnerships between cultural and academic institutions in the province.
During the meeting, they explored avenues for joint cooperation and the exchange of expertise and resources to support cultural and artistic activities, preserve Iraqi musical heritage, and enhance its presence in society. They also discussed ways to organize joint cultural and artistic events and activities that would benefit both the university and local communities.
Both sides emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation and coordination among institutions concerned with cultural and artistic affairs in the province. This would enhance the integration of academic and cultural efforts and support initiatives aimed at preserving Iraqi cultural identity and solidifying its presence within society.
