The Student Activities Division at the College of Media, University of Kirkuk—represented by its Technical Unit—organized a training workshop on the art of printing on plastic. Held as part of the division's periodic program of artistic and cultural activities, the event saw the participation of a number of college staff members.
The workshop comprised both theoretical and practical components; participants were introduced to key techniques for printing on plastic surfaces, as well as the specific types of inks and tools used in this art form. Additionally, they engaged in hands-on exercises that helped them acquire practical skills in creating artworks.
The Dean of the College of Media, Prof. Dr. Maad Assi Ali, emphasized that organizing this workshop reflects the college administration's commitment to supporting artistic talent, encouraging staff to channel their creative energy, and fostering a university environment that motivates participation in extracurricular activities.
This workshop is part of the Student Activities Division's ongoing efforts to expand opportunities for artistic engagement and develop the creative capabilities of the college community, thereby enhancing the role of student activities within university life.
