The College of Media at Kirkuk University chairs a ministerial committee to evaluate the Media Department at the University of Mosul.

The College of Media at Kirkuk University led a ministerial committee—constituted by the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Agency—to visit and evaluate the Media Department at the College of Arts, University of Mosul. This visit was part of the ministerial committees' work to assess media colleges and departments across Iraqi public universities.
The visit involved examining the department and its academic branches, as well as assessing the quality of educational and support facilities. The committee inspected classrooms, specialized laboratories, studios, infrastructure, and green spaces, while also reviewing available resources and the extent to which they are utilized to support the educational and training processes.
Furthermore, the committee reviewed the department's academic and administrative performance and examined key achievements and activities from the previous academic year, in accordance with the evaluation standards adopted by the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Agency.
This visit is part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research's ongoing efforts to monitor and evaluate media-related academic institutions, enhance the quality of media education, and elevate academic and service performance standards to align with the requirements of academic development and the media labor market.
