As part of its annual agenda and in an effort to promote sports and youth activities, the College of Media has launched the Men’s Doubles Table Tennis Championship. Organized by the Student Activities Division (Sports Unit), the tournament features teams comprising students and staff from various departments and academic levels.
The opening rounds were marked by intense competition and an enthusiastic atmosphere, characterized by sportsmanship and fair play, all amidst the active engagement of students, faculty, and staff.
The championship aims to develop athletic and physical skills, foster team spirit and cooperation, and instill values of fair competition and discipline within the university community.
Professor Dr. Maad Assi Ali, Dean of the College of Media, emphasized that organizing the tournament reflects the College's commitment to supporting youth talent and providing a stimulating university environment for sports. He noted that such activities contribute to developing physical and tactical skills while strengthening connections between students and staff, adding that the matches will continue according to the approved schedule until the top rankings are determined and the winners are crowned.
