The Women's Affairs Unit at the College of Media, in collaboration with the College of Medicinal and Industrial Plants, organized a seminar titled "The Creative Woman and Influential Speaker: From Idea to Impact." The event addressed the importance of creativity and communication skills in enhancing women's presence and their ability to transform ideas into impactful achievements.
The seminar highlighted the role of self-confidence and effective expression in conveying ideas and creating influence, as well as the importance of harnessing women's creative potential across academic, professional, and societal spheres.
Prof. Dr. Maad Assi Ali, Dean of the College of Media, emphasized that supporting creativity and developing communication skills among women are crucial to fostering a university-level persona capable of taking initiative and making an impact. He noted the College's commitment to organizing programs and events that enhance women's capabilities and their societal presence.
The seminar was moderated by Assistant Lecturer Duaa Najdat Mohammed and Assistant Professor Jahan Naji Abdul Qader. This initiative reflects the Women's Affairs Unit's ongoing efforts to raise awareness, develop women's cognitive and professional skills, and encourage them to turn their ideas and ambitions into initiatives that yield positive impact.
