The Student Activities Division (Cultural Unit) at the College of Media held a unique Quran recitation competition, with the participation of a number of students and faculty members. This initiative aimed to support talent and promote cultural activities and faith-based values within the university environment.
The competition witnessed outstanding performances from the participants, who presented recitations characterized by high-quality delivery, beautiful voices, and adherence to the rules of Tajweed (Quranic recitation). A specialized committee evaluated the entries according to precise criteria, including the accuracy of the recitation, vocal performance, and Tajweed rules.
Professor Dr. Mu'ad Assi Ali, Dean of the College of Media, emphasized that holding this competition aligns with the college's commitment to supporting cultural activities and developing the talents of its students and faculty. He pointed out the importance of such initiatives in strengthening faith-based and cultural values and fostering a university environment that nurtures talent and creativity.
At the conclusion of the competition, the winners and participants were honored and presented with certificates of appreciation and prizes, recognizing their participation and encouraging them to continue developing their talents and abilities.
