As part of its efforts to promote professional values and instill a culture of institutional commitment, the Student Activities Division – Cultural Unit at the College of Media issued an awareness brochure entitled “Professional Ethics,” under the supervision of the College Dean.
The brochure included a set of principles and values that form the basis of sound institutional and academic work, most notably honesty and integrity, professional responsibility, respect for others, professional discipline, and teamwork, in addition to emphasizing the importance of preserving public property and adhering to regulations and instructions.
The brochure also addressed aspects of media ethics, particularly accuracy, objectivity, credibility, and responsibility in handling information, in line with the nature of media work and the College of Media’s mission to prepare conscious and professional cadres.
The Cultural Unit affirmed that this activity is part of a series of awareness and cultural events implemented by the Student Activities Division, with the aim of spreading ethical and professional awareness and strengthening organizational culture, thus contributing to building a more committed and distinguished university environment.
