College of Engineering at the University of Kirkuk Organizes an English Language Competition at Different Levels

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Chelang Akram Omar, Dean of the College of Engineering, and in collaboration between the Library Division and the Student Activities Division, the college organized an English language competition at different levels. The competition aimed to enhance students' language skills and provide them with broader academic and professional experience.

The competition witnessed wide participation from students across various departments, with participants divided into levels based on their language proficiency. This allowed for fair competition and an opportunity to test their abilities in grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and both written and oral expression.

The competition consisted of multiple rounds, where participants underwent tests designed to assess their linguistic skills. The event was characterized by a competitive and encouraging atmosphere.

At the end of the competition, the top winners were honored with certificates of appreciation and symbolic gifts in recognition of their excellence. The college administration praised the efforts of the Library Division and the Student Activities Division in organizing the event, emphasizing the importance of mastering foreign languages for academic success and access to research and development opportunities.
