A guidance seminar entitled "Suicide: Its Causes and Treatment Methods"

The College of Basic Education, through the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, organized a guidance seminar entitled "Suicide: Its Causes and Treatment Methods." The seminar discussed the causes of the phenomenon of suicide and its psychological and social effects, in addition to reviewing treatment and prevention methods. The lecture was presented by Assistant teacher Adnan Ali Farhan and Assistant teacher Khaled Ahmed Abdul. It included the psychological and social factors that lead to suicidal thoughts, as well as the psychological support mechanisms that can be provided to help overcome psychological crises. The seminar aimed to raise awareness among students and faculty members about this important issue and provide them with the tools that help them support individuals who may face such challenges.
