Scientific Workshop Highlights the Role of Research in Addressing Human Trafficking

In light of the growing challenges posed by the phenomenon of human trafficking on societies, a specialized scientific workshop was organized, shedding light on the importance of scientific research in understanding this phenomenon and analyzing its economic, legal, and social dimensions.
The workshop aimed to motivate researchers and postgraduate students to explore this vital field by identifying key research gaps and utilizing accredited data sources, such as reports from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM), as well as providing practical guidance on preparing scientific research eligible for publication in prestigious international journals.
The workshop also included applied themes that helped participants transform their ideas into realistic research projects, contributing to providing effective solutions and policies to curb this phenomenon.
This workshop was supervised and presented by Assistant Lecturer Mosaab Mohammed Sayel, amid outstanding interaction from the attendees.
