Faculty Member Chairs Master's Thesis Defense at the University of Zakho

A faculty member from the College of Computer Science and Information Technology chaired a Master's thesis defense at the University of Zakho.

Professor Dr. Burhan Fakhraddin Jumaa presided over the examination committee for the Master's thesis titled: "Numerical Solutions for the Cubic-Quintic Nonlinear Schrödinger Equation" presented by researcher Kazheen Hassan Omar, from the College of Science at the University of Zakho.

Prof. Jumaa noted that the thesis involved the application of analytical methods and various numerical techniques to investigate the approximate solutions of the Cubic-Quintic Nonlinear Schrödinger Equation. The study successfully demonstrated the effectiveness of the chosen method in constructing both analytical and numerical solutions for the Cubic-Quintic Nonlinear Schrödinger Equation.
