The College of Computer Science and Information Technology, specifically the University Psychological Guidance Division, in cooperation with the Women's Affairs and Continuing Education Unit, organized an awareness seminar titled "Irregular Migration: Causes, Risks, and Solutions".
The seminar highlighted the concept of irregular migration, reviewing its most prominent social and economic motives and the subsequent legal and humanitarian risks it poses, which threaten the future of youth and the security of communities. The discussions also covered ways to address and mitigate this phenomenon through enhancing awareness, providing safe alternatives, and activating the role of educational and media institutions in education and guidance.
At the conclusion of the seminar, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Chalak Shakir, the Dean of the College, delivered a speech aimed at fostering responsible student awareness and promoting the values of citizenship and belonging. This, in turn, helps protect the energies of youth from slipping into unsafe pathways.
