Office of the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs - College of Computer Science

The Vice Dean for Scientific Affairs and Graduate Studies is responsible for organizing the academic and scientific affairs in the college, and managing the affairs of undergraduate and graduate students to ensure the effective progression of the educational and research processes. He oversees a group of specialized administrative divisions that work in harmony to achieve the college's goals, which are:

Graduate Studies Division: Responsible for receiving the applications of candidates for Master's and PhD programs across all college departments, and following up on admission procedures until the final university order granting the degree is issued.

Scientific Affairs Division: Concerned with following up on the scientific activities of the teaching staff, issuing administrative orders to form scientific and examination committees, managing scholarships and cultural relations, and organizing scientific conferences within the college.

Studies and Planning Division: Focuses on preparing analytical studies, developing academic strategic plans, and monitoring performance indicators to ensure the achievement of the college's goals. It also provides the university and the ministry with monthly and annual statistics and reports.

Computer and Internet Division: Manages and periodically updates the college's website, provides technical support for the official emails of faculty, students, divisions, and departments, and ensures the continuity of electronic services within the college.

Library Division: Provides physical and electronic information resources for students and researchers, supports digital reading services, and organizes cultural events related to books and literature.

Continuing Education Division: Organizes training courses and specialized workshops for faculty members, staff, and students, aiming to develop their skills and keep them updated with the latest scientific advancements.

Registration and Student Affairs Division: Manages the student registration process from the announcement of central admission results until the issuance of graduation certificates, while tracking their academic progress and resolving any administrative obstacles.
