The College of Pharmacy, through the Continuing Education Division, held a symposium entitled (Sustainable Development to Combat Environmental Pollution - Green Chemistry) on Thursday, 4/25/2024. The symposium included two axes through which the two researchers, Assistant Lecturer Manal Abdullah Rashid and Assistant Lecturer Batoul Khalil Muhammad, addressed how to use green chemistry to combat environmental pollution and adopt methods of green chemistry principles to avoid environmental waste and manufacture less hazardous and safer chemicals and use safe solvents and catalysts and choose the chemical path that consumes the least energy and use renewable raw materials that decompose in the environment and are determined by factories in real time and convert beneficial chemicals into harmful chemicals.
