The College of Pharmacy, through the Continuing Education Division, held a scientific symposium entitled (The Difference Between Autism and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) on Monday 4/15/2024.
The symposium included several axes through which the two researchers, Lecturer Dr. Mirna Kifah Faeq and Assistant Lecturer Taiba Faris Abdul Karim, addressed the most prominent differences between autism spectrum disorder and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and identified their causes, symptoms, and available treatment methods.
The symposium was enriched with some discussions and scientific interventions by the attendees, which contributed to enriching knowledge of the two disorders and a better understanding of them.
At the end of the symposium, it was recommended to provide psychological support and adopt effective methods to raise awareness and deal with individuals with these two disorders.
